Security forces kill 30 terrorists infiltrating Pak-Afghan border

ISLAMABAD  –  Security forces have eliminated at least 30 Indian-backed terrorists trying to infiltrate through Pak-Afghan border in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Hassan Khel area, North Waziristan district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.

“Own troops effectively engaged and thwarted Indian-sponsored Khawarij’s attempt to infiltrate. As a result of precise and skilful engagement, all 30 Indian-sponsored khawarij were sent to hell. A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from the killed Indian-sponsored Khawarij”, the ISPR said.

The security forces demonstrated exceptional professionalism, vigilance & preparedness, and pre-vented a potential catastrophe.

The Interim Afghan Government also needs to check and prevent the use of Afghan soil by “foreign proxies” for orchestrating terrorist activities against Pakistan.

The Security Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers and to eradicate the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.

President Asif Ali Zardari has commended the security forces for eliminating the 30 Indian-backed ter-rorists in Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan District.

In a statement, he reaffirmed that the nation’s resolve for the elimination of terrorist elements and the defence of the country will remain unwavering.

The President expressed the commitment to the complete eradication of Fitna-al-Khawarij.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tributes to the security forces for eliminating the terrorists.

In a separate statement, he said the brave armed forces of Pakistan are standing like a solid wall to protect the country.
